Check who is coming tomorrow, without hunting for the site in a browser

Much of the work in a practice happens between patients, not at a desk. Installed as an app, your dashboard sits on your home screen or dock and opens straight to where you work.

How to install

A few steps, from your phone or your computer

1

Tap Install the app in your dashboard

The button in your dashboard's menu shows the steps for the device you are on. When the browser offers it, on Android or in Chrome or Edge on a computer, it is one tap and a confirmation; otherwise the dialog walks you through the browser's menu.

2

On iPhone and iPad: a short guide

In Safari, tap Share, choose Add to Home Screen, then tap Add. On a computer, the dialog shows a QR code that opens your dashboard on your phone so you can install it there.

3

Open it from the icon

The app opens straight to your dashboard, in a window of its own with no address bar.

  • The same account as on your computer
  • On Android, press and hold the icon to jump to your calendar or your patients

What you get

The same Zento, fitted to the device you work on

A window of its own

The app opens on your dashboard in a window of its own, with no browser bar around it, like any other app on the device.

Shortcuts to what you use most

On Android, press and hold the icon to go straight to your calendar or your patients.

The same account everywhere

Your calendar, patients, notes and payments are the same as on your computer, with nothing to keep in sync.

Updates arrive by themselves

There is nothing to download. Each release replaces the app's files the next time it loads.

Patient records stay on the server

The app keeps only its own files on the device. Patient pages and records always come from the server, so without a connection you see an offline page, never a stored copy of anyone's record.

No app store

You install it from a button in your dashboard, with no store to search and no extra cost.

What you can do from your phone

Your calendar, your patients and your appointments in your own calendar app, on the go.

Calendar

Your schedule by month, week or day, the same calendar you use at your desk.

Patients

The patient card, visit history, notes and the clinical file, from wherever you are.

Calendar subscription

A private link that puts your appointments in Apple Calendar, Outlook or Google Calendar. Read-only, and it refreshes itself.

Offline

Without a connection you see a clear offline page with a button to try again. Patient pages are never kept on the device for offline use.

Frequently asked questions

Do I download it from an app store?

No. Install it from the Install the app button in your dashboard's menu, which shows the steps for your device. There is no app store listing.

Does it cost extra?

No. It is on every plan, Starter, Growth and Pro, at no extra cost.

Which devices can I install it on?

Android phones and tablets, iPhone and iPad, computers running Chrome or Edge, and Macs with Safari on macOS Sonoma or later, through Add to Dock.

How do I install it on an iPhone?

Open your dashboard in Safari, tap Share, choose Add to Home Screen, then tap Add. The install dialog in your dashboard shows the same steps, and on a computer it shows a QR code that opens your dashboard on your phone.

Does it work offline?

Your schedule and patients need a connection. The app keeps only its own files on the device, never patient pages or records, so without a connection you see an offline page with a button to try again.

How do I get updates?

They arrive by themselves. Each release replaces the app's files the next time it loads, and pages always come fresh from the server.

What does the calendar subscription show?

By default, the service, the clinician and the location's address for each appointment. You can add the patient's initials if the calendar service you sync to may hold patient information under your HIPAA arrangements. Names, notes and contact details are never in the feed.

Can I sync with Google Calendar both ways?

Yes, separately from the subscription link. Connect Google Calendar in your calendar settings and your Zento appointments and your Google events stay in step both ways. The subscription link is a read-only alternative for Apple Calendar, Outlook or Google Calendar.

More features that work together

Each feature is useful on its own. The real value comes when they connect: a profile that brings patients in, inquiries that become appointments, and appointments that bring reviews.
