Ting Xie

Dr. Xie barely made eye contact with me during our session, mumbled redundant questions based on my intake forms (which I would have expected she would have reviewed beforehand), and generally lacked the warmth of a caring provider. I’m not new to acupuncture and I appreciate Dr. Xie’s commitment to her acupuncture practice, but I decided to continue my care with a more personable and welcoming acupuncturist. I hope Dr. Xie puts in the work needed to be more warm and welcoming for future patients.

Dr. Xie is very knowledgeable in her field. My issues is that she is the only acupuncturist I have been to who charges a separate fee for an herbal consultation (usually you pay for the herbs themselves but not a separate herbal consultation fee), she doesn't disclose what herbal formulas she prescribes, and gives you what seems to be a microdose (one pill per day or every other day). It also didn't work out with my insurance. Other acupuncturists I have been to found a code they could use for the insurance so that it would benefit both of us. That said, she really knows her field and is nice.

Dr. Ting is great! She has a peaceful studio that provides comfort and relaxation during your treatment. She is very knowledgable and caring when it comes to your concerns. Highly recommend!
