If I may: she comes across as attentive and even kind, but she tends to drain patients financially. She is the type of doctor who will order 50 tests only to turn around and tell you that you have heavy metal poisoning when she could have simply used a hair test. She runs all kinds of random tests just to turn around and suggest you might have MTHFR when a simple DNA test would suffice. In fact, when I first came to her, I informed her that I had already tested positive for heavy metals, yet she still had me take hundreds of dollars' worth of tests just to confirm antimony. Regarding her respect for HIPAA, I informed her that I did not want my mother to be informed, and she stated she would refuse to treat me if my mother wasn't involved—even though I was in my 30s. But it gets worse. For years, she allowed the antimony to stay in my body, recirculating while my blood-brain barrier was compromised. She strung me along for years without ever giving me a referral to a doctor who could provide treatment, all while acting as though she was still hunting for the cause of my symptoms. After years of searching, I broke down and asked her when we were going to remove the antimony since we already knew the reason. She informed me that another one of her patients with antimony poisoning had suffered severe brain damage when she tried to treat it, and she told me not to treat it. She explained that the patient's blood-brain barrier was compromised, which is what caused the damage. My blood-brain barrier was compromised as well, and the antimony was recirculating and causing damage too. She had prescribed medication for the blood-brain barrier, but conveniently enough, my mother stopped ordering it, and neither I nor my mother was informed that I was supposed to take it for the rest of my life. There were other HIPAA violations involving my mother as well. I was not given access to the pharmacy where my B12 for MTHFR was to be ordered; she refuses to give me the prescription directly simply because my mother was paying for it. My mother refuses to order it—which makes sense, given that she confessed to having Munchausen by proxy. So she is never going to order it, yet my HIPAA-violating doctor gave her prescription access and not me.
